Before it became known as a relaxing private resort that is located at the southern portion of Samal Island, it was once an actual pearl farm. The 11-hectare Pearl Farm Beach Resort was once a pearl farm in 1958, the Aguinaldo Pearl Farm, where thousands of white lipped oysters, transported from the Sulu Sea, were cultivated for their pink, white and gold pearls.
Around 7 am, we waited at the Marina Jetty Wharf located for our boat transfer to the resort. We paid
Php 2,500 / person for whole day tour (much lesser for weekday tour Mon - Thurs). I am kinda excited since I've been born and raised in Davao but its my first time to visit this exclusive resort along with my brother Jansen and his grilfriend Grace, Laarni and Anna - my two friends who are from Manila. The boat leaves at 8am sharp for a one hour boat trip to Pearl Farm Beach Resort.![]() |

The place is ideal for family or honeymooners. Our villa has 3 bedrooms and veranda. There is nothing much to do in the island except if you want to scuba dive or play golf. After a couple of hours we go back to the resort.
Time for LUNCH and we are really starving...
A choice of sumptuous Filipino and International Cuisine with fresh seafood and fruits available at Maranao Restaurant.
